Frequently Asked Questions
-
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! It is no secret that when we look good, we feel more confident and so, we would recommend wearing clothing that makes you feel your best self. For Heels, this can be anything from gym leggings to denim shorts and for Commercial classes, a pair of joggers and an oversized t-shirt is always a good choice!

What heels should I wear?
We would recommend heels with ankle support, a flexible sole and ideally no higher than 10.5-11cm. It's always a good idea to invest in a professional pair of dance shoes (you can use code AELA15 for 15% off Joheela) if you're wanting to commit to classes but we understand that you may not want to just yet! You can check out some links to heels over on our Instagram stories!

How do memberships work?
Our memberships are reoccurring monthly subscriptions that offer huge discounts on our weekly classes. By signing up to our memberships, you are auto-enrolled into your class for the week and your subscription payment will then automatically be taken month-by-month. Memberships have an initial minimum commitment of two months and after this, can be cancelled or paused by emailing us at info@aela.uk. Please ensure your cancellation is made no less than 48 hours before your membership renews as Aela are not liable for refunds after a contract has renewed.

Can I pay on the door?
All of our classes need to be booked in advance through our online system as spaces are limited. However, you can pay as you go and don't have to commit to a membership!
-
What are the different levels?
Beginner is our starting level and so, this is for those who have little to no experience or those who are just wanting to dip their toe before joining an All Levels class! These classes will cover the dance styles techniques and foundations and you will learn around 20-30 seconds of choreography.
All Levels is our next step up and is open to everybody! These classes will be more focused on choreography and performance and are great for those wanting to really take their training to the next level.

Yourselves, some water, your heels (if it's a heels class) and most importantly, your gorgeous energy!
